In this afternoon workshop, we will discuss how those stories are connected and how you can create your own collection of true, personal narratives. Author and Harvard grad Catharine Murray of Portland, Maine will walk you through effective steps and prompts to help you build a collection!

Catharine will use specific prompts and lessons on technique as an entry point to the crafting process. Whether you're starting on a blank page, or you have several stories written, this workshop will help you find structure and vision for your collection.

This workshop will benefit: new or veteran writers; storytellers; solo show artists; and those looking to develop a new skill.

We'll use personal narrative storytelling as a tool to practice performance for four weeks, culminating in a student performance for the public on June 8th at 7pm at Oil Lamp Theater.
