In this afternoon workshop, we will discuss how those stories are connected and how you can create your own collection of true, personal narratives. Author and Harvard grad Catharine Murray of Portland, Maine will walk you through effective steps and prompts to help you build a collection!
Catharine will use specific prompts and lessons on technique as an entry point to the crafting process. Whether you're starting on a blank page, or you have several stories written, this workshop will help you find structure and vision for your collection.
This workshop will benefit: new or veteran writers; storytellers; solo show artists; and those looking to develop a new skill.

STORY BASH
In this afternoon workshop, Story Jam will help you generate stories through an array of fun improv games, prompts, and exercises. Guests will enjoy conjuring up new and previously forgotten stories while practicing storytelling on the fly. Casual and fun, Story Bash is an effective tool for storytellers to dig up new material!
Story Bash is led by Story Jam producer/creative director Stephanie Rogers.
